Power Outage
In the event of a building power outage, remain calm. Emergency/Exit signs and lights are battery operated and will automatically continue to operate. To minimize disruption and damage once power is restored, turn off as much electrically powered equipment as possible.
Madison Centre is equipped with a power generator, which should help minimize disruption in the event of a power outage.

- Lighting: Employees will need to depend upon natural lighting and emergency egress lighting.
- Elevators: Elevators will not be in service. Passengers that become stuck in an elevator should follow the posted emergency procedures in the elevator cab and press the phone button for assistance.
- Parking: Access to parking facilities will be limited. Please note, driving in the area may be hazardous due to non-functioning traffic signals.
- Communication: Phone systems may not operate.
- Ventilation: HVAC system will not function.
